Basic Rules of the Road

​

1. Turning Signals: pretty basic if you're the lead rider and have a mic. Although if you do not have your mic on the horn should be used. To turn left it is one blast of the horn. To turn right it is two blasts of the horn.

 

2. Riding formations: our "default" formation is two by two staggered so the back tire of the bike in front of you should line up with your front tire. This is subject to change during the ride and can be changed to single file at short notice. The signal for changing from twos to single is a long blast on the horn.

 

3. Riding Positions: officers always ride at the front of the formation unless organised before to stop confusion. The positions should be President and Vice President, (road captain can also be asked to lead but is up to prez or VP to decide) followed by Secretary and Treasurer, followed by Sgt at Arms and Enforcer. Bringing up either the front or the back will be the Road Captain followed by members holding Evil Breed status then former officers or veteran patch members. Following them should be all other patches. PROSPECTS AND SUPPORTERS ALWAYS RIDE AT THE BACK!

 

Note: Leading position can be either left side or right side of the lane, as long as everybody behind them follows suit accordingly.

 

4. Parking: Parking should be done in the order of the formation. You don't park until the person in front of you has parked his bike.

 

5. If a brother has to pull off or break formation, a prospect and/or supporter are to accompany and wait for said brother until they can rejoin the group. If nobody specific is tasked then it defaults to the last prospect/supporter or patched member in formation to do so.
